As I am sure most of you have gathered by now I have finally made my move and busted out of the UK to the tropical climate (which will probably kill me) of Thailand.
It is kind of strange sitting here in my hotel room in the heat and looking out at the pool to think that yesterday my journey started with a drive over the snow covered Pennines past all the massive snow drifts and buried fences. There was a really pretty sunset as we drove to Manchester which was quite nice, knowing that I wont be seeing the sun set back home for white a while.
All in all the flight wasn’t as bad as I expected. Yes it was long but it didn’t feel as cramped and tights as all of the European flights that I am used to. I was actually really impressed with the on-board entertainment, having my own 10″ touchscreen TV with a choice of 1500 Movies and TV shows is certainly the way the travelling should be. Even the mean (which i was not looking forwards to at all) was actually really nice. Not just airplane nice but normal food, order it in a restaurant nice.
Easily the hardest part of this trip so far has been all of the waiting about for things to happen. Having a 6 hour layover in Dubai wasn’t great either but i did get a nice burger with a compliment of “Daniel, your hair looks nice. It looks good on you” which is always nice to hear 😀
Arrived at my hotel at midnight so just went straight to sleep as there is no point doing anything more when you feel dead on your feet.
Night people 🙂

hotel looks good. Try not to burn in the sun. Missing you already. Good idea of Cunni’s this blog. I like that I can keep up to date with all your adventures. Off to work in the cold now. So envious. Love you xxc
Cheers Jane-Anne, I’m all about the good idea’s and it’s not just having good idea’s but it,s it’s also being able to make them happen In literally no time at all! This whole site was created at 12:15am and finished at 1:39am the night before Dan flew!
That said its amazingly good not just for Dan logging his adventure but also for mates and loved ones who can sit here feeling inspired by his adventure.
