Who needs a blog? Now that was always a question for me that Mr. Cunningham managed to answer pretty quickly.

Today was my final dinner with my Dad and some family before I head out tomorrow to start my big adventure with slack plans and an “I’ll figure it out” attitude. My brothers girlfriend seems to be the most concerned about my health after seeing something on Coronation Street involving shifty hostels and has also seen the news about dodgy Malaysian planes and so is a little paranoid about everything. I am under strict instructions to check in whenever I can and to make sure I sent them a pic of the tail number of the plane and keep the GPS turned on on my phone at all times just in case!

….and this brings me around to the whole idea of a blog. I wanted some way of being able to note things down and remember everything that has been going on while also keeping in touch with everyone back home to let them know what was happening. A blog seems like the perfect combination of both as to be hones this is probably more for me than for everyone else so I can keep my memories in once place.

So keep tuned in and as things start to happen i will keep everyone informed and cross post information to Facebook for whoever cant be bothered to come and check.

  8. I’m so so jealous, I do wish I was going back again. All I will say is “you can never take too many photos, and take it all in one day at a time”
