Today is a day that I am saddened as I experience a first world problem that has left me upset and unsettled about the future of my entire journey.

Ever since leaving the UK I knew that there was a possibility of this happening and I have tried to prepare for it as much as I could but I have to admit I still was caught off guard and am probably still in shock.

You see, the sound has stopped working in my left headphone meaning I can only listen to music in one ear! I can hear you all screaming (in mono!) “how can you survive!” and I have to tell you I think it is going to be very tough.

The worst part is that I brought 3 sets of headphones with me to make sure nothing like this happened but the issue is actually with the port on my phone and not the headphones so I have no way of resolving it.

Added to this the cheap Chinese charging cable for my ipad also feel apart so I only have half a charge left on that where I can at least still listen to music in both ears.

Time is going to be tough for me as I’m sure you all know and I would appreciate any prayers you could pass my way for my audio to properly return home where it belongs.

I hope none of you have to suffer a fate like this.

In other news I’m off to Cambodia on Wednesday so I guess life’s not all bad! 🙂

  1. You poor boy. Some of us grew up with only mono sound on our record players (do you even know what that is. Did point one out to you at Cusworth museum when you were about 12 & you guessed some kind of record deck). So sympathy from my age group may not be too forthcoming. Love you xxxxx

  2. Daniel you freaked me out I thought you had been mugged or something. But now I have taken in your dilemma I can understand why you are so distraught and can only hope you resolve this situation quickly. Bless you your in our prayers. Enjoy Cambodia. Love Dad and Shell xxxxxxx
