I few of you have been asking questions like “How hard is it really at Tiger” and “Do you think I could manage something like that” and the answers are VERY and Definitely! Training here is as easy or as hard as you want to make it and the more you give the more rewarding it can be.

Below is a rundown of my typical day here at Tiger and what I get up to workout wise. It a bit intense but that is the way I wanted it to be as I don’t see the point in paying to be here if I am not making the most of it. Some people just do a single class a day though and then relax and recover the rest of the day. Those people are known as the smart people. The rest of us are just weird…

6:00am – Get up and prepare for the day ahead
6:30 – 7:30 – Morning Yoga (I have made it there 1 time so far!)
7:30 – 9:00 – Chill out and grab some breakfast.
9:00 – 11:00 – BJJ No-Gi grappling technique and sparring
11:00 – 16:00 – Shower, eat lunch, rehydrate, relax, prepare
16:00 – 18:30 – Muay Thai class
18:30 – 19:00 – Weights in the Gym
19:00 – 21:00 – BJJ No-Gi grappling and sparring
21:00 – 21:15 – Skipping and cardio
21:15 onwards – Home, shower, eat sleep.

For added fun I am also going to see if I can manage to squeeze a general fitness class in the middle of the day break just to take up even more time and mean that I need even more clothes than I already seem to go through.

Different people have different tolerances though and handle things in different ways. During the classes I feel like I am going to die, however I do always manage to pull through and about 5 mins after we finish I seem to have recovered and can go again. What I lack in stamina I make up for in recovery and power so at least I have that going for me!

The great thing about all the classes though is that you can take things at your own pace and really get out of the class whatever you put in. Some people that are really unfit or older will just walk when they say to run or sit out at certain points. As long as you know your own limits and are not afraid to push them a little then this is certainly the place to be.

I will start to do a rundown of some of the classes soon to give you all a bit of the flavor of what we have to do and why doing 2 Muay Thai classes a day (one in the morning and 1 at night) will give you rock hard abs in no time!
