So it turns out that life is a balance made up of positive and negative with the goal being to try and keep on the level and hopefully top over the edge to pure positivity.
In preparation for flying tomorrow I decided to call my bank to let them know where I am going and what dates so that they can ensure my card works. All went well with card number 1 before I went to find card number 2 to get the number and give them a call, this is where the issue occurred. I have had this card stored safely in my bag ever since Thailand, not touching it to make sure it is there for any emergency that comes along. The card was exactly there I left it but not exactly in the condition I left it in. My spare credit card has decided that being in 1 piece is too mainstream for it and so has decided to slip its self into 3 pieces just for fun!
Now I would have been really annoyed at this but actually I am quite happy. It was at that moment that I noticed that I could hear music playing from my headphones that were around my neck. The thing that I noticed though was that I could hear the music from both sides! My music is back! I would happily trade a broken bank card for stereo music so I am now happy. I have also bought an iPad charger at a reasonable rate so all in all I think I shall take the little victories today!
Best keep a close eye on my 3rd and final card…
Did the card I posted to CB turn up ok? Did you collect it from him when you met up again? Perhaps you need some old fashioned travellers cheques for emergency purposes. Rebekah & I now want to visit to go to Hobbit land. Well jealous. Been out for day with Rebekah & Avril to look at wedding dresses for Avril. Decided if you are staying over there much longer we are coming to visit. Will even bring Scott with us though not discussed it with him. His phone is bust so having to communicate through Rebekah at mo. Enjoy Cambodia & keep us posted. Love you xxxxx
No it didn’t turn up before he had to leave so will be at his house now but he is in the Philippines. I will just have to get it from him when I get back there. No worried too much, sure I could figure something out if I needed to in a bind.
Scott’s phone does explain why he didn’t message me back at least. Though he was ignoring me!
