My money is changed, I have visa passport pics ready and all the loose ends I am aware of are tied up. It is now time for me to leave the continent I have called home for past 6 weeks and start my journey back to South East Asia to do some adventuring in a tropical climate for a while.
I am really looking forwards to the adventure and meeting back up with my friend Ursi who I met in Thailand to travel with. I am completely aware though that the hot sun is going to be both a blessing and a curse. Here in NZ it is starting to get a bit cooler now as it turns into autumn and there has even been the start of snow on the south island. On the flip side though Cambodia and Thailand are going to be scorching hot and full of things that are going to want to eat me alive which is never a good way to start a holiday.
Best stock up on plenty of bite cream and insect repellent.
Asia round 2 is in full effect!
P.S. I am flying with Malaysia Airways so if they lose a plane (again) or get shot down (again) can you please all refrain from saying “I told you so” at my funeral. I’m sure that they are due to land a plane successfully about now anyway!
